    Dear Thurston Students and Families,

    Welcome to the beginning of an exciting and rewarding school year at THS.  We hope this letter finds you and your family rested and well. Our staff is prepared, excited, and hoping your Thurston High School student is ready to register and get engaged as the new school year quickly approaches.

    The THS staff could not be more excited about THS Rodeo on Tuesday, August 31th and the start of the

    2021-2022 school year. First day of class for Grade 9 is Wednesday, September 8th, and all grades attend on Thursday, September 9th.

    This year, families are asked to use the ParentVue web portal to complete the new student enrollment and/or returning student registration/verification process. Here is the district link if you have not gotten started.


    To help staff process the incoming documentation we ask that all THS families complete this online process prior to Friday, August 20, 2021.  If you are unable to complete the online process, we will have stations set up at the THS rodeo for your convenience.

    THS “Rodeo” INFORMATION.  This will take at least an hour of your time.

    (Face Mask are required). 

    When:          Tuesday, August 31, 2021

    Who:            11th & 12th grade   (9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.)
                          9th & 10th grade    (12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

     Where:         THS Courtyards

    Come prepared to: Double check student profile information which includes emergency contact information has been received by school (if you have not completed online registration)

    Receive your tentative schedule (schedules are subject to change)

    • Pay Fees – Associated Student Body ($30), General School Fee ($30)
    • Purchase parking space ($30) – Must have a valid driver’s license to purchase
    • Have Student Body/ID Card picture taken (required)
    • Have school pictures taken (optional and information included)
    • Receive information on the 2021-22 yearbook (optional)
    • Pickup your student body card before leaving

    If you’re unable to attend the THS Rodeo on August 31th, please register in front of the Student Services office on Thursday, Sept. 9th (First day of school for all students) at  7:45 a.m.  School Pictures and ASB Card photos will be taken on the following morning of Friday, September 10th in the school cafeteria (7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.)
