The National Guard will be working at Silke Field the week of May 5, 2024.

Our board is currently reviewing two textbook recommendations. As part of our commitment to transparency and community involvement, we invite the public to preview the programs as well.

This year’s celebration of two great human rights leaders, Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez, will take place at Hamlin Middle School on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. The annual Dolores Huerta / Cesar Chavez Celebration is hosted by Springfield Public Schools, together with the Springfield Alliance for Equity and Respect (SAfER)

Athletic fields at both Springfield and Thurston high schools will be converted from grass to artificial turf.
