Board Invites Interview Panel Applications
The search for the next superintendent of Springfield Public Schools continues to move forward as the Board prepares to review applications.
To assist in their decision, the School Board is soliciting applications to participate in panel interviews with the top candidates. Panelists will convene for a full day of interviews following the district’s behavior based interview process, and will provide feedback to the board as they consider applicants for the next leader of Springfield schools.
Panels will be comprised of cross-stakeholder representation and will focus on evaluating characteristics identified during the stakeholder focus groups held last month. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for February 20, and panelists would be asked to participate in the full day of interviews.
