Lane County to provide second round of rental assistance funding
Looking for assistance to pay your rent? Families across the county have been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic in a number of ways, especially financially. Lane County Government, at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, will open its online application systems for families to apply for rental assistance funding. The eligibility application is an online form that will be available at www.lanecounty.org/rent.
The county issued a press release Monday to encourage Lane County residents to gather the appropriate documents and information before the online application opens on Wednesday. To find out what you need in order to apply, visit www.lanecounty.org/rent.
To be eligible for rent assistance, your residence must be located in Lane County, you must have an active rental agreement or lease in your name, you must be able to document a loss of income due to COVID-19 or that you are at an elevated risk of COVID-19 infection and a loss of housing would jeopardize your health. Your household must not exceed income above 50 percent of the Area Median Income Level.
