Pauline Pham, special education and English teacher at Springfield High School was recently awarded the Circle of Excellence prize for grades 9-12 by OnPoint Community Credit Union! Teachers of varying grade levels are celebrated for their excellence in education – which recognizes teaching methods that spark enthusiasm and passion in students, parents and their peers.
The recognition is given to educators who inspire creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom; demonstrate exemplary teaching methods and style and who have a significant impact on students, parents, peers and their community. Anyone, including teachers themselves, can nominate a teacher.
Educators who receive The Circle of Excellence recognition receive a $1,500 cash award plus a $1,000 donation to their school for resources and supplies!
This is what an SHS colleague had to say about Pauline:
“Pauline is a passionate, confident, and driven educator who is determined to do all she can to ensure students get the most out of high school and are prepared for life after graduation. She emphasizes the importance of collaboration with other professionals and families in order to reach this goal. Her teaching practices are focused on equity and individual student success. She strives to level the educational playing field for students with disabilities so everyone has equitable access to learning.
