District Seeking Board Member Applicants
The Springfield Board of Education is currently seeking applicants to fill Position 5.
Each board member is considered “at-large” and applicants for Position 5 do not need to live in a certain area of Springfield. As with any mid-term resignation, the Board will appoint a new member to serve out the remainder of the current term. The person appointed will then run for re-election at the end of the current term. The term for this position expires June 30, 2021.
Applicants must be a registered voter and have lived within the attendance boundaries of Springfield Public Schools for at least one year.

Applications and accompanying materials must be received by 5 p.m. on June 21, 2018.
