  • Welcome Back

    Dear Guy Lee Families,

Welcome Back! We are excited to be welcoming your children back to school on Wednesday - September 8th, 2021. As we head into the new school year here are a few important details, to get us off to a great start!

Commitment to having students back in our schools:

As I met with our district leadership it is great to see the commitment to our students getting the best education possible and we believe that for most students that will be in our buildings full-time and that is what we are planning and preparing for!

Somethings to be excited about this fall:

    • P.E and Music instruction returns!
    • Recess and lunchtime with grade-level friends
    • The new covered Play Area allows for more outside play, year-round!
    • Direct student services from our community partners returns.

We hope to open our doors to visitors as soon as our Lane County numbers come back down! Staff miss having you in the school too! To make that possible there will be a few things we will need to make this happen: These are based on the Oregon Health Authority guidelines and will be in place across the district.

    • Limiting student to student and student to staff physical contact.
    • Students will be 3 ft apart from each other
    • Masks will be required of all students and staff while inside the school.
    • Strict cleaning protocols will remain in place
    • Everyone helps each other stay safe, healthy and are flexible as we navigate this important process.

*Important* We will continue to follow all health and safety protocols from ODE to ensure the best possible educational experience while keeping everyone safe. Thank you for your help and support with this important goal. It is appreciated!

BRATTAIN ONLINE is a blended program that offers daily live synchronous online instruction for core classes, in addition to opportunities for self-guided, self-paced instruction for K-12 who live in Springfield School District Boundaries.

Please request your transfer to an online option by September 6th, 2021 at 5pm.
