Yolanda Elementary gets new mural painted by well-known local muralist

A new mural has been installed at Yolanda Elementary in time for the 2023-2024 school year.
The mural, featuring the Yolanda Cougar paw print, was commissioned by the Yolanda Elementary PTO and painted by prolific local muralist Bayne Gardner. Some of Gardner's most well-known work includes The Simpson's and Track Town murals.
The new mural takes the place of the former Yolanda Cougar mural, which been subjected to repeated vandalism. This new mural will be protected with an anti-graffiti protective coating.
"Our new mural on the front of our building is a wonderful way to welcome students and families into our building" said Kari Isham-Skelton, Yolanda principal. "It really shows our pride to the surrounding community and those that drive by. Yolanda ROCKS!!!"
