A dozen kinders visited Springfield High School to meet student-athletes, enjoy a game night and have fun with Otto, the most famous Miller in town.

The Dream Big exchange and greetings between the oldest and youngest in our district took place on Tuesday, February 24 during the halftime of the women's varsity basketball game. The event was part of the District’s Go Beyond campaign.

Young students and their families got to watch the Millers lead and win the match against North Eugene (80-16).

Kinders from different schools throughout Springfield, proudly wore t-shirts saying "Future Miller," were met by student leaders, athletes, and cheerleaders. The older students gave the little ones gift bags with goodies and stickers. The students also exchanged hugs and smiles on the court.

The event is designed to connect high school and elementary students while inspiring those just starting their academic journeys.
