Schneider Named Classified Library Employee of the Year

Dani Schneider, Library Manager at Springfield High School, has been named Classified Library Employee of the Year by the Oregon Association of School Libraries (OASL).
Schneider started in her current position in 2021. Since then, she has written and received over $19,000 in grants and restructured her library collection to make it more user-friendly and appealing. Not only has she reached pre-pandemic circulation rates (a benchmark most secondary schools across the nation have not yet met), but she has doubled circulation numbers for SHS.
Schneider will be recognized at the 2025 OASL State Conference Luncheon on Saturday, October 4th at North Eugene High School.
