Future Colts enjoy sports event, make new friends at THS

More than 20 kinders and their parents joined student-athletes, student leaders and staff at Thurston High School for a fun night of inspiration and to dream big. The Dream Big exchange and greetings between the oldest and youngest in our district took place on Friday, February 13 during the halftime of the girls' varsity basketball game. The event was part of the District’s Go Beyond campaign.

The older students gave the little ones gift bags with goodies and stickers. The students also exchanged hugs and smiles on the court. 

The event is designed to connect high school and elementary students while inspiring those just starting their academic journeys.
