Springfield Public Schools and the Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) have reached an agreement on a successor collective bargaining agreement starting in the 2026-27 school year. OSEA members ratified the contract in mid-July. The District’s Board of Directors is expected to vote on the contract at its August 10 Business Meeting.

The agreement reflects a respectful and collaborative bargaining process and includes:

  • Cost-of-living adjustments of 4% in each year of the agreement.
  • New longevity steps recognizing employees with 15 and 30 years of service.
  • Updates to employee evaluation, professional development, and operational procedures.

The agreement is designed to support employees while maintaining the District's commitment to serving students and families effectively.
