Acting Superintendent to Host Coffee and Conversations

Springfield Public Schools Acting Superintendent Jodi O’Mara is inviting families and community members to join her for a series of informal Coffee and Conversation gatherings around town.

These no-host events are designed to create a welcoming space for parents, guardians, and community members to share their perspectives, ask questions, and talk about what they want from their local school district. O’Mara said listening to the community is an important part of her work as she begins her time serving as Acting Superintendent.

The first Coffee and Conversation will take place:
    •    Wednesday, March 11
    •    7:30–9:30 a.m.
    •    Washburne Cafe (326 Main Street)

Community members are welcome to stop by at any time during the event to share their thoughts and connect with O’Mara. Additional Coffee and Conversation events will be scheduled in the coming weeks at locations throughout Springfield.
