Academic Calendar

School Start and End Times

Elementary Schools - Grades K - 5: 8:35 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.
Middle Schools - Grades 6 - 8: 8:15 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.
High Schools - Grades 9 - 12: 8:00 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.

Early Release Schedules

Elementary Schools will be released at 12:30 p.m.
Middle and High Schools will be released at 1:15 p.m.
Note: This does NOT apply to WLA or A3 schools.

Elementary bus riders will be dropped off at their bus stops 2 hours and 20 minutes earlier than their regular time.
Middle and high school students will arrive 2 hours earlier than normal.

All students in grades K-12 will be served lunch just as they are on a regular school day.

 

2024-25 Elementary / Trimester Schedule

Nov. 25, 2024: End of Trimester 1 (No school for elementary students).

Nov. 25-27, 2024: Grading / Planning / Conferences (No school for elementary students).

Jan. 31, 2025: Grading / Planning (No school for elementary students).

March 21, 2025: End of Trimester 2 / Semester 1 (No school for elementary students).

June 12, 2025: Last Day of School/ End of Trimester 3.

 

2024-25 Secondary / Semester Schedule

Nov. 8 & 22, 2024: End of Quarter 1 / Grading / Planning / Conferences (No school for middle and high school students).

Jan. 30, 2025: End of Quarter 2 / Semester 1 / (No school for middle and high school students).

Jan. 31, 2025: Grading Day / (No school for middle and high school students).

April 18, 2025: End of Quarter 3 / Grading Day.

June 12, 2025: Last day of school / End of Quarter 4 / Sem. 2

 

2024-25 Key Dates

• October 11, 2024 - In-service Day - No school.
• November 11, 2024 - Veterans Day - No school.
• Nov. 28-29, 2024 - Thanksgiving - No school.
• Dec. 23, 2024 - Jan. 3, 2025 - Winter break - No school. 
• Jan. 6, 2025 - In-service Day - No school.
• Feb. 17, 2025 - Presidents Day - No school.
• March 24 - 28, 2025 - Spring break - No school.
• May 26, 2025 - Memorial Day - No school. 
• June 12, 2025 - Last day of School.

In-district transfers accepted during the month of January.

All transfers accepted during the month of March.

Kinder Welcome events set in early May.

School registration is in late August.

Snow Days: Should more than two school days be missed due to inclement weather, those days will be added during or at the end of the school year to meet the minimum instruction minutes required by the State of Oregon.
