Measuring Progress and Performance

Measuring progress and performance means being responsible and transparent about how we operate as a District. It involves sharing information about our activities, results, and decision-making so our community can see how we're supporting students and using resources effectively.

On this page you'll find links to assessment schedules and results, key District statistics, and links to school and District report cards

To learn more about our district, download a copy of the Springfield Public Schools brochure, which includes historical information, listing of schools, boundaries, employee highlights, and data infographics.

Basic District Statistics

This page provides a common set of statistics to the community, Board of Education and Springfield Public Schools staff. This information is used for administrative decision making and grant writing, among other uses. It presents recent or current data by indicators, as well as historical information. As Federal and State regulations change, indicators may change.

Research and Reports

You can also submit research and data requests to the district as well as view information on large scale assessments.

School and District Report Card

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) produces yearly At-A-Glance School and District Profiles and Accountability Details for schools and districts. These reports, called for by the 1999 Oregon State legislature and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) comprise ODE’s larger reporting system as required by the Oregon State legislature and ESSA. The At-A-Glance School and District Profiles were designed by and for parents and community members to be an understandable and easy to read overview of how schools and districts serve their students. The Accountability Detail Sheets are more technical documents that provide information on school and district performance, improvement, and each school’s level of support under ESSA.
