Summer Programs With Academics + Recreation for Kids (SPARK)
This Summer, Springfield Public Schools is offering free Summer Programs with Academics + Recreation for Kids, or SPARK Camp. Students enjoy a series of well-rounded summer learning experiences while making new friends and building existing relationships. The fun begins Tuesday, July 5th!
- July 5-8 (Tuesday - Friday)
- July 11-14 (Monday - Thursday)
- July 18-21 (Monday - Thursday)
- July 25-28 (Monday - Thursday)
*Camp hours are from 9:30 am to 3:10 pm daily.
The free programs are open to Springfield students currently enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade.
SPARK Camps will be held at Guy Lee, Maple, Mt. Vernon, Riverbend, Thurston, and Two Rivers/Dos Ríos Elementary Schools. Agnes Stewart, Briggs, Hamlin, and Thurston Middle Schools will also host SPARK Camps. If there isn't a camp scheduled at your school, you will have the opportunity to attend a school nearby.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Limited transportation is also available.
When you register, you will be registered for all four weeks of the program. Registrations will be accepted as space allows - please register no later than May 2nd. Registration forms are available here in English/Español.
