Accessing School Board Meetings Remotely

In accordance with Oregon House Bill 2560, the Springfield School Board will broadcast board meetings beginning with the December 13, 2021 business meeting. 

"School boards are most effective in supporting the success of our students when we work in collaboration with the communities that we serve," shared Board Chair Naomi Raven. "Increasing access to information, providing clarity and transparency in our decision-making process and building trust is at the core of our work as a school board. While we love to see the faces of those we are committed to serving, we recognize the barriers many families face that prevent their in-person attendance at our meetings. It is our sincere hope that providing this new avenue will ease those barriers and allow our community to remain connected and in support of our work towards successful outcomes for all Springfield's students."

The school board meetings will be broadcast live via the district's Vimeo channel as well as the embedded video below. Moving forward, as meetings are recorded they will be archived and available to watch on-demand as needed.
