• Communications Internships

The Communications Department welcomes interns from a variety of post-secondary programs in our area. Interns have the opportunity to work alongside staff to help develop both internal and external communications plans, assist with the day-to-day running of a dynamic communications program, and enhance their skills through a variety of projects.

Upon successful completion of this unpaid internship, students receive a letter of recommendation and portfolio materials. Past interns have found that spending two terms in Springfield Public Schools allows them to get more involved and help lead larger, long-term projects.
