Homebound Instruction
-
Students who will miss two or more weeks of school for medical reasons may receive tutorial instruction through the district.
How it works:
- Parents will need to provide the district with access to their child's medical records and physician to confirm the medical need for tutorial services.
- Students are expected to attend all tutorial sessions. If a student misses two sessions, the district may terminate the homebound instruction services.
- Students will receive grades for their work with a homebound tutor; however, high school students must meet district requirements to earn credit towards graduation.
