Not Feeling Well?
If your student is feeling ill, please use your judgment about when to keep them home or call for advice from our health aide. In general, if your kiddo has a fever (100.4 or above), is vomiting, or has diarrhea, they should not be at school. Please call the school office to let us know.
View a printable flyer here with more detailed tips on when students may return to school.
You may always call to speak with our health aide if you have any questions or to get specific advice regarding COVID-19 symptoms and protocol.
Medications at School
If your child has medication that needs to be taken during school hours, an adult must always be the one to bring this medication to school to check it in with the health aide. The parent will need to fill out a form giving permission and specific instructions for administering the medication. All medication must come to school in its original labeled container.
This is required for both prescription and non-prescription medication, including cough drops.
If Your Child Becomes Sick or Injured at School
When your child becomes ill or is injured at school we will call the parents to come and pick them up. It is very important that we have the name and telephone number of an emergency contact, someone who can pick up your child if you cannot be reached. Please be sure your contact information, and your students' emergency contacts, stay up to date!
