Gateways, Springfield, and Thurston high schools all earned the prestigious Cognia Accreditation, a highly regarded accreditation that is recognized throughout the world.

The 2025-26 academic calendar is now available! The School Board approved the calendar during its April 14 meeting.
All students will return to school either September 3 or 4. Early release days will continue to be held on specific Fridays throughout the year.

Six months after implementation, the use of Magnetic Reading Foundations in K-2 grades classrooms has significantly changed the dynamics of phonics and reading learning in Springfield Public Schools.
