Dani Schneider, Library Manager at Springfield High School, has been named Classified Library Employee of the Year by the Oregon Association of School Libraries (OASL).

The Board of Directors adopted the 2025-26 Operating Budget during its Business Meeting on June 9, 2025. The adoption comes following a months-long process to review the proposed budget.

Students at Springfield Public Schools (SPS) recently got a taste of the Oregon coast, thanks to a fresh, hands-on culinary experience that surfaced boat-to-table albacore tuna into the cafeteria.

It is with deep sadness that Springfield Public Schools shares the news of the passing of EJ Rotherham, Assistant Principal at Agnes Stewart Middle School (ASMS). EJ passed away peacefully in his sleep over the Memorial Day weekend.
